In 1957, Sorkheh Hesar Garden which belonged to Ghajar Kings and Nasereddin Shah (King) had built a two-floor building in it used for amusement and hunting, according to approval of the National Islamic Assembly was allocated to medical treatment of patients suffering from phthisis and assigned to Social Security Organization. In that time the Social Security Org. changed the old building into the hospital and also built some other buildings known as the five-buildings and then in the area of the hospital built a building for mental diseases, a building for Thoracic Surgery (the present heart surgery), a building for children suffering from phthisis (present internal surgery), and finally 1976, reception building also used for emergency and laboratory and internal part (the present angiography, CCU and internal heart ward).
